“The Dream”, where four young lovers fly to the woods to escape the perils of Athenian law and end up in a twisted tangle of confused affections; six amateur actors meet in a secret grove to rehearse in earnest and all the while the fairy king and queen wage a war of jealousy and mischief. Whether it’s the meddling fairies, the theatrical antics of Nick Bottom and Peter Quince, the lovers’ haps and mishaps, or the astonishing poetry, be enchanted by this well-loved comic masterpiece.
